Shofu Disco ZR Lucent
Highly stable zirconium oxide discs with integrated shade shades and natural translucency.
SHOFU Disk ZR Lucent is the ideal material for monolithic prostheses that combines the high flexural strength of zirconium oxide with the aesthetic potential of lithium disilicate.
The stratification and translucency of the Multilayer discs correspond not only from a chromatic point of view to the structure of natural teeth; the individual layers also present different degrees of translucency: 31% in the cervical area and up to 34% in the incisal area.
The brightness value, color intensity and translucency of the restoration can be easily customized by selecting the ideal position in the disc (nesting).
Flexural strength of more than 1,000 MPa guarantees enormous safety for restorations in both the anterior and posterior areas.
98.5mm pre-sintered discs with edge can be milled in most machines.
They are available in three thicknesses, depending on the length of the crown and the shade expected for the cervical area, dentin and enamel.
Fields of application

Fully anatomical crowns and bridges with up to 6 elements in the anterior sector, to be painted and glazed with Vintage Art Universal |
Reduced crown and bridge structures of up to 6 elements in the anterior sector, to be anatomically completed with Vintage ZR enamel masses |
Fully anatomical crowns and bridges with up to 3 elements in the posterior region, to be painted and glazed with Vintage Art Universal |
Reduced crown and bridge structures of up to 3 elements in the posterior sector, to be anatomically completed with Vintage ZR enamel masses |
SHOFU Disk ZR Lucent Monolayer discs: |
Veneers, inlays, onlays on chromatically natural teeth |
Advantages
It combines the resistance of zirconium with the natural aesthetics of lithium disilicate in one disc. |
It offers more safety than other zirconium discs with similar translucency, both in the Multilayer and Monolayer versions. |
The colors blend harmoniously into each other at the transition points between collar, dentin and enamel. |
With the Vintage Art Universal stains and glazing masses it can be aesthetically adapted to any situation, including natural fluorescence. |
